I was walking on the Zim Smith trail early morning on January seventh when I saw a large wing go into a White Pine. I kept my eye on the spot and as I got closer to the tree could see the owl tucking in for a roost spot. I actually went home and back twice,finally bringing the camera with the zoom lens to get these shots. The owl slept away!
