Out and About: Kayaking with A Bald Eagle

I have gotten out to kayak several times this summer on Round Lake and each time, have had a Bald Eagle flying over my head! It has been ten years since I first saw eagles on the lake.It is still a thrill for me to watch them soaring, perched in a tree or sitting on the ice in winter. I have also seen a couple of Great Blue Herons on my paddles, heard the rattle call of a kingfisher, and watched dragonflies land on my boat. It is always a quiet, relaxing time especially on the outlet.
